Willpower is one of the most important parts for character growth in Sword of Justice. It boosts your stats, adds passive effects, and shapes your combat style.

　　If you're looking to increase your character's Power and grow stronger, mastering Willpower is essential. Here's everything you need to know to get started.

What is Willpower:

　　Each Willpower comes with a trait, one main stat, several sub-stats, and elements.

　　Willpower Trait: Each type of Willpower comes with its unique trait effect. This effect is enhanced every 10 levels.

　　Main Stat: Always Max Vitality. It increases every time you level up the Willpower.

　　Sub-Stats: Each Willpower has random sub-stats, which can be previewed under All Willpowers in the [Martial Arts - Willpower] tab or on the upgrade screen.

　　Elements: These are used to activate the Willpower Cycle. Each Willpower gains one additional element every 10 levels.

　　The elements for each Willpower are mostly fixed. If you see a ""?"", it means that element will be randomly selected from the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water).

　　Willpower Quality: Each type of Willpower comes in four qualities—Gold, Purple, Red, and Blue.

Equipping Willpower:

　　Once you've obtained a Willpower, whether from treasure chests, puzzles, quests, or other activities, go to [Menu—Martial Arts], then tap [Willpower] to the Willpower tab. Tap the ""+"" slots around your character to enter the equipping panel.

　　Select a Willpower from the list on the right, you'll see its details on the left. And tap Equip to put the Willpower on.

Leveling Up Willpower:

　　You can level up your Willpower by consuming other Willpowers as EXP. The higher the level, the stronger its stats.

　　Each Willpower has a maximum level and cannot be upgraded further once it's reached. The max levels for Blue, Red, Purple, and Gold Willpower are 10, 15, 20, and 25 respectively.

　　Your character level also limits how high you can upgrade your Willpowers:

How to choose the right Willpowers:

　　The most important thing is to gather the right Elements to activate the [Willpower Cycle]. Every 4 Elements of the same type across your equipped Willpower grants 1 level of the corresponding Cycle, up to a maximum of 3 levels.

　　Each Element's Cycle offers a different effect:

　　Metal ： Burst DMG

　　Wood ： CD Reduction & Faster Skill Rotation

　　Water： Support & Control

　　Fire： Damage over Time

　　Earth： Defense & Survivability

　　You can view recommended builds and apply popular setups from [Menu - Martial Arts - Willpower - Willpower Encyclopedia - Willpower Recommendation] or [Menu - Martial Arts - Martial Build - Featured Build].

　　After activating as many Cycles as you can with the right traits, compare the stats to see which Willpower works best for you.

How to get Gold Willpowers:

　　Dungeons: Daily Trials and Weekly Challenges drop plenty of Willpowers. Gold Willpowers may also drop from Weekly Challenges.

　　World Bosses: Gold Willpower drops are guaranteed when you challenge World Bosses with [Commission Tokens].

　　Identity: For example, if you've chosen the Relics Identity, you might unearth Gold Willpowers while excavating and preserving artifacts.

　　Tier Rewards: Under the All Paths Converge system, you can choose any two of the four tracks—Fair Contest, Leisure, Dungeon, or Trial by Combat. Complete the challenges to earn Gold Willpowers.

　　You can also earn Gold Willpowers from other activities, such as open-world exploration, Luster Battle Pass, Bounty, Wild Bosses, and more. Or you can exchange for them in the Windstorm Token Shop, Gemlight Shop, Guild Shop, or Trading Post.
