In this ultimate trial, you will even witness wonders like eternal night reigning in the heavens above, rivers flowing in reverse, and stars wheeling back in their course. As Steward of the Nightwaker School, Yu Ruomeng has mastered the art of the "Shadow" to its deadliest extreme. In Heroic Difficulty, the "Beauty Nightmare" of the past leaves more Shadow Guards behind—faster, and stronger.
While moonlight remains, she conserves her strength, summoning shadows and reinforcing her strikes, waiting in the dark for the critical slash.

When night falls, the "Shadow Clone" arena truly begins. Shadow Guards swarm every direction—north, south, east, west, above, below—blocking all paths. Cross one and it's death. The single path to "survival" lies hidden, for you to find yourselves.

When she unleashes her ultimate skill "Meteoric Chase," the Shadow splits into three, each raining down like a blazing meteor across the battlefield. Once the final strike lands, the battlefield is swept clean.

If you defeat Yu Ruomeng's "Shadow," you will then have to see through Lord Ape's "Illusion." As the divine ape who crossed blades with the Sword God and mastered the techniques of all schools, Lord Yuan strikes with "Dragon Rise" and summons illusions to fight alongside him. Telling the real from the false is the true challenge.

He is equally accomplished with "Thunder." Even in normal difficulty, he draws his blade with lightning, channeling electricity through his sword. Heroic mode amplifies the storm with more strikes, faster arcs, and deadlier voltage. Power alone won't get you through the trial.

In the final trial stands the soul of Isle of Fallen Deities, Grandmaster Li Bai—the Sword Immortal, Poet Immortal, and Banished Immortal. In Heroic mode, he reveals his true form, unleashing "Endless Annihilation - Taibai" and summoning three Swordsoul Shadows. He is the sword, and the sword is him. Each Sword Soul possesses its own will, and when Li Bai's techniques align, they strike together in combo attacks.

The Sword Souls release an additional "Sword Worldlash." Once marked by a Sword Soul, stay clear of your teammates to avoid stacking damage on others.

The Sword Souls release an additional "Deadly Lock" (a single-target execute). The marked player must face it alone. That is the only path to survival.

When the battle moves underwater, the Sword Souls continue to time their skills alongside Li Bai's. Read the rhythm to find your way through.

Completing the Heroic Trial of Banishing Storm unlocks a new tier of Relic Gear, including [Yu Ruomeng - Crane Feather Belt] and [Lord Ape - Distant Night's Radiance Collar]. You can also get the Relic material [Li Bai - Composing on the Road Manuscript], used to enhance the [Li Bai - Time and Heaven Robe]. Additional rewards include the Special Skill material [Li Bai - Moonlit Golden Goblet], Lv. 85–86 Forged Gear, Divine Gear material [Outerworld Thunder Scales], Willpower [Mystic Marvel], and plenty more!

[Heroic - Banishing Storm] features 3 bosses. Defeating the final boss grants an extra reward, for a total of 4 clears per week when fully cleared. (Reward counts are shared with [A Duel of Blades].)
